Planting shrubs can be a great way to hide that ugly outdoor air-conditioning unit. You can also create a sort of privacy fence around your house and create a sort of anchor for a small flower bed. I will list a few that seem to be the popular choice.

Nothing brightens up a house like a few green thriving plants. The problem with this is that most people have a hard time keeping them alive. The biggest obstacle many face is trying to find the right plant for the light level in their home. Some people have the advantage of having the southern facing windows which provide great light for any plant the want, but that’s not the case for most of us. What is the best solution for this? There are several different plants that will survive low light and most of them are fairly easy to take care of as well. Here is a list of five top plants I believe to be the best for low light homes. I will list their common known names as well as their botanical names. There will also be a sp by their name if any plant in that family will work.

If you are like most of us and do not have the space to have the garden you would like or your plants are not growing as well as you would like this is your answer. A raised garden is easy to build and will allow you to artificially provide more topsoil. This will allow your plants to thrive and flourish as you want.

When you begin the project of building a pond for fish be sure to consider everything. You will need to figure out what kind of fish you want then go from there. You may want to consider the size of your pond as well. If you are only able to build a small one you have to really consider the type of fish to put in it. Many fish need a certain size pond to thrive.
The most common fish for garden ponds are goldfish and koi. Goldfish can be kept with different types of plants. The koi fish can only be kept with certain types of plants as they like to eat many plants. The koi fish can grow much larger than the goldfish so if your pond is very small goldfish are your best bet.
Gold fish, despite their bad reputation are great fish for ponds. They will survive a long time if cared for properly. There are a few kinds that are great for small ponds. The comet is probably the most popular. They have a longish body with the typical orange or flame colored body. You may also see these fish in pure white. The fantail is also another popular pond choice. These fish are shorter and plumper than the other guys and their tail fin is split giving them their name. The last one I will mention is the orandas. They look somewhat like fantails. They are known by their head growth. Their head growth is known as the hood of a fish because it appears as if its covered in warts. There are many varieties of color in goldfish. There will be plenty to choose from and find the right one for you. These guys will eat mosquito larvae so this may help keep your pond mosquito free. This can be a problem for many ponds.
Koi fish are another popular choice by pond owners. koi fish are Japanese ornamental carps. These fish are not as hardy as the gold fish and can be quite a bit more aggressive. These fish can be disease prone too but are still very attractive fish. Among many pond fish contest you will find these guys. The koi have very striking colors and varieties which makes them a hot item for many pond owners. The koi fish unlike the goldfish has almost ideal symmetry. The koi fish has a torpedo- like form with tapering head. Although after some inbreeding they can have box shaped heads. The females are more attractive as the males become very skinny as the grow. The koi fish can carry blood red to deep red patterns on their backs. With the many different types of color out there when it comes to koi fish they are very popular. These fish seem to be the most sought after pond fish.
If your pond is pretty small you might consider the goldfish to be a good choice. Koi fish will need more room that the goldfish and can be harder to take care of.
The less popular fish for small ponds are the Orfe which are another type of carp. These guys are a schooling fish and should be kept in groups. The Orfe fish need a lot of oxygen and will mainly keep to the surface of the water. These are less popular choice as they tend to jump out of the smaller ponds to catch bugs.
There are a few choices so be creative and get what suits you and your pond.
The first thing that people see when they arrive at the house is the landscape most likely. This is what most people like to call your curb appeal. You will want to create a attractive curb appeal. The first thing to keep in mind is that a lawn mower can be dangerous if not used properly. Before starting your lawn mower be sure you have checked the area for rocks, large sticks, and always wear proper shoes for example nice tied tennis shoes would be good no flip flops please. Secondly, always remember if you have let your lawn go for a few weeks its best to start slowly. Never just go out and cut it all the way down to original height, You should start off cutting about half way then give your lawn a rest a few days then cut the rest. If you do manage to cut it too short just make sure you give it plenty of water and watch for weeds. Next step is to try to always mow your grass when it is dry. When a lawn is mowed wet it is more likely to get lawn fungus.
